Prof. Preye Owen Fiebai is Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) and Consultant Reproductive Medicine Specialist at University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH). He graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in 1989, became Fellow of West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) in 2003, earned Post Fellowship Certificate in Infertility and Assisted Reproduction (PFIART) in Infertility & Assisted Reproduction in 2004, Diploma in Advanced Ultrasonography in London in 2008, and Fellowship of International College of Surgeons in 2009. Prof. Fiebai’s clinical and academic work centers on ART, infertility, reproductive endocrinology, minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, and obstetric care. He contributed to establishing fertility services in Nigeria and served as Dean, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT). He is the President of Association for Fertility and Reproductive Health (AFRH), Nigeria, where he champions equitable access, ethical practice, and professional development in reproductive medicine. He has authored/co-authored many peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and edited An Introduction to Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) in UPTH. Memberships: He is a Fellow/Member of WACS, ICS, AFRH Nigeria, SOGON, NMA, Fertility Society of Nigeria, and IFFS through AFRH.
