Professor Jude Okohue is a consultant obstetrician/gynaecologist and the Medical Director of Gynescope Specialist Hospital in Lagos and Rivers States. He is the current President of the Association of Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgeons (AGES) and was also recently elected as the Vice Chair and incoming Chair of the American Association of Gynaecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) Hysteroscopy Special Interest Group, where he had previously served as a Board Member from January 2022 to January 2023. In addition, since 2023, Prof. Okohue has served as one of the five members of the AAGL Professional Education Committee, responsible for shaping the global educational standards and scientific contents of the AAGL annual congresses. In April 2026, he was appointed as the African Ambassador of the Hysteroscopy, Assisted Reproductive Technology, Ultrasonography (HARTUS) Congress in Rome, Italy. He was the lead editor of the textbook Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery: Basic Concepts, published by Springer in 2020. He also serves on the editorial board of numerous international journals, including the Italian Journal of Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
