Mr. Chigboja earned his BSc in Microbiology from the University of Ilorin in 2006. He became an Associate of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science (AIMLS) in Medical Microbiology at the Federal College of Medical Laboratory Technology, Vom, in 2009. He holds an MSc in Clinical Embryology from the University of Leeds, UK, and a distinction in Genetics & Biotechnology from the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Nigeria. His specialized training includes Andrology, Embryology, Cryopreservation, and ART lab quality management at the European School of Assisted Reproductive Technology, KinderwunschKlinik, Linz, Austria. He also completed advanced training in Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis at University College London, Genetics & Genomics at Stanford University, and Human Fertility Preservation at Reprolife Inc., Tokyo. In 2017 he founded Labogen Diagnostics, Abuja. He leads work in molecular diagnostics, reproductive genetics, genotyping, qPCR assay development, laboratory quality management, and professional training. He is an Official Cryotec Instructor and has trained clinicians on oocyte and embryo vitrification across Africa, Europe, and Asia. He is a member of AFRH, ESHRE, ASRM, PGDIS, AFSHG, ASHG, ESHG, CEAN, and AMLSN.
