Dr Umez-Eronini graduated from the medical school at the University of Southampton UK in 1987 and went on to obtain the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Ed UK (FRCS Urol) in 2007 in Urology after specialist training in the Newcastle and the North-East. He completed an MD, undertaking research in tissue engineering from the University of Newcastle in 2007 and is well published. He presently works as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, with a sub speciality interest in male infertility and works with the regional NHS fertility service in assessing and providing surgical support for surgical sperm retrieval for the West of Scotland. He is a member of the Chartered Management institute (CMI), a member of the Global Andrology Forum(GAF), as well as the andrology section of the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS).
