Dr. Nazim Gherabi

Dr. Nazim Gherabi is a consultant urologist, andrologist, and urologic surgeon based in Algeria. He received his MD in 2013 from Algiers University and completed his specialization in urologic surgery in 2019. He holds an Inter-University Diploma in “Male Infertility and ART” from Montpellier Faculty of Medicine, France, and a post-doctoral fellowship endorsed by the European Board of Urology in “Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery” from Heidelberg Faculty of Medicine, Germany. His clinical practice focuses primarily on male infertility and andrology, with a special interest in microsurgical testicular sperm extraction (MicroTESE) for non-obstructive azoospermia. He is a member of the Andrology Committee of the African Federation of Fertility Societies (AFFS) and serves as co-team leader of the Global Andrology Forum. He is also a member of the Andrology Group of Interest of the Algerian Society of Reproductive Medicine (SAMERE). Dr. Gherabi is an Associate Editor for the African Journal of Urology and a reviewer for several international journals. He has published numerous papers and review articles in the field of male reproductive health. In addition to his clinical and research activities, he is a lecturer in the Post-graduate Certificate on Couple Infertility and ART at the University of Algiers.
