Dr. Marcos Horton

President, International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS), 2025–2028 ART Lab Director, Pregna Medicina Reproductiva, Buenos Aires, Argentina Dr. Marcos Horton is a Medical Doctor from the University of Buenos Aires, trained in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Buenos Aires British Hospital and in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Huntington Reproductive Center, USA. He is certified in Ultrasound, Reproductive Medicine, and Gynaecological Endoscopy by SAMeR, with expertise in clinical infertility, assisted reproduction, ultrasound, and reproductive surgery. He founded Pregna Reproductive Center in Buenos Aires, which performs 2,500+ IVF cycles annually. He currently directs the ART laboratory and Quality Control program. Academically, he has delivered 200+ lectures worldwide, published 25 international and 15 local peer-reviewed papers, and authored 5 book chapters. He has received multiple national and international awards for scientific contributions. Dr. Horton has held senior roles in SAMeR including President and co-directed the Argentinian Registry for Assisted Reproduction. He currently serves as President of IFFS, an NGO in official relations with WHO, and advises Argentina’s Ministry of Health on the National Assisted Reproduction Program.
