Dr. Faye Iketubosin, FWACS, FRCOG, is the Medical Director of George’s Memorial Medical Centre Fertility Centre, Lagos, Nigeria, and one of Africa’s leading reproductive medicine specialists. He graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, in 1982 and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), United Kingdom, in 1989. In recognition of his contributions to women’s health and reproductive medicine, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in 2021. He is also a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS). Following extensive clinical practice in the United Kingdom, Dr. Iketubosin developed expertise in assisted reproduction, endoscopic surgery, and general obstetrics and gynaecology. In 2006, he established George’s Memorial Medical Centre Fertility Centre, where he continues to provide specialist fertility and women’s healthcare services. A respected leader in reproductive medicine, Dr. Iketubosin is a Past President of the Association for Fertility and Reproductive Health (AFRH) and currently serves as Vice-President of the African Federation of Fertility Societies (AFFS). He also chairs the AFRH ART Registry Committee, leading initiatives to strengthen data collection, quality assurance, and clinical governance in assisted reproductive technology across Africa. He is an active member of the Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of Nigeria (SOGON), the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). Dr. Iketubosin remains committed to advancing reproductive healthcare through clinical excellence, education, research, and collaboration across Africa and beyond.
