Dr. Christopher Danga is a clinical embryologist and genetic scientist with over 20 years’ experience in IVF-ART. He began his IVF career in 2001 and has trained and worked across Europe and at the Cleveland Clinic, USA. He holds a B.Sc. in Microbiology from University of Sokoto, an MSc in Clinical Embryology from University of Leeds, a PhD in Biotechnology from University of Honolulu, and an MBA in HR Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH). Dr. Danga has pioneered the setup of IVF laboratories in Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, and Ethiopia. He is a master trainer and technical expert who currently supports 25+ IVF centres across Africa, providing pre-implantation genetic testing for chromosomal abnormalities and for prevention of sickle cell disease in ART. He has peer-reviewed publications and is a member of CEAN, AFRH, PGDIS, ASRM, and ESHRE. He previously served as Financial Secretary of AFRH and is currently a Board Member of IMSA.
