Otunba ‘La-olu Osanyin is an internationally renowned Medicolegal Consultant with 24 years of experience in legal practice. He is Vice President and the only African on the Board of Governors of the World Association for Medical Law (WAML). He is a member of the American College of Legal Medicine (ACLM) and served on the Board of Nigeria’s National Health Research Ethics Committee (NHREC), by appointment of the Hon. Minister of Health. Otunba Osanyin is General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Section on Legal Practice and Immediate Past Chair of its Committee on Medicine and the Law. He heads the Medicolegal Department of Medical Tutors Ltd, an MDCN-accredited CPD provider. He lectures at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo State, and is part of the team that pioneered the MSc. Health Law and Policy program. He is also the Founder and Convener of the Nigerian Medical Law Summit.
