Prof. Christian Chigozie Makwe is a Professor at the Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility Regulation Unit of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, College of Medicine, University of Lagos; and a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Idi-Araba. He holds degrees in Medicine, Public Health and Business Administration. He is a Fellow of both the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) and National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in the Faculty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FMCOG). He also holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. He has participated in several national and international collaborative research projects with over 75 publications in peer-reviewed journal. He is a collaborator in The PCOS Phenotypes in Unselected Populations (P-PUP) Study Group. He is a recipient of several awards and research grant.
