Prof. Anis Feki is Head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Medical Director of the Hôpital Fribourgeois, and Full Professor at the University of Fribourg. He trained at the University Hospitals of Geneva, where he also earned his MD and PhD, and later led the Stem Cell Laboratory, deriving Switzerland’s first human embryonic stem cell line and induced pluripotent stem cells. Prof. Feki has held leadership roles in ESHRE and EBCOG, chaired ESHRE’s Certification Committee, and was elected Chair of ESHRE in 2025. He has published over 200 articles in leading journals and is internationally recognized for his expertise in reproductive medicine, gynecological surgery, and stem cell research.
